Jasmine Road screens at EIFF, director Warren Sulatycky shares more
Five years ago, Alberta filmmaker Warren Sulatycky was working on a script about a cowboy. That idea eventually morphed into Jasmine Road, a story about a rural Alberta rancher whose life is changed after he opens his home to Syrian refugees.
The movie recently had its world premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival and it kicks off the Edmonton International Film Festival October 1st. CKUA’s Lisa Wilton spoke to Warren about the inspiration behind the film:
